A remix of Rise

A reworking or a ‘remix’ as one of my bandmates said the other day. I pulled out two moorland paintings from a number of years ago. They had escaped the gesso as I had been pleased with the compositions but not quiet satisfied with the finished paintings enough to put them out there.

Here’s a painting of Rough Tor on Bodmin moors. Swipe to compare the before and after photo. I think I’ll leave be for now and come back next week. Maybe some glazing, maybe some even chunkier textures.
